Röhm

Röhm's $350 million Bay City plant produces methyl methacrylate (MMA), a key material used in acrylic products. Built on the OQ Chemicals site, it is North America's first C2-based MMA facility and can produce 250,000 metric tons annually.

The plant created 70 announced permanent jobs, began production in March 2025, and reached full operation in 2026.
