Cerilon GTL ND Inc.'s planned large-scale gas-to-liquids facility near Trenton in Williams County would convert natural gas into Group III+ base oils, ultra-low-sulfur diesel, and naphtha using hydrogen production, gas reforming, and Fischer-Tropsch technology, with carbon capture and sequestration. Cerilon has selected and permitted the site, completed FEL-2 engineering, advanced toward FEED, and secured binding offtake agreements covering approximately 75% of expected volumes. In June 2026, it reached agreement on a Topsoe and Sasol technology-licensing structure whose execution remains subject to project financing.
